Now we are back

April 20, 2017

We are back, back at the restaurant that is. After the trial period,it was in the family’s best interest to keep ther estaurant as a family runned restaurant. What did I do during those 2 weeks off? I worked as an Uber driver, tried to reach out to all my contacts for a job. A few people had put in a good word for me or moved my resume along, but it takes forever. Some people just gave false promises as i wastched time go by, and time to me, is the most valuable currency we all have. During that time I didn’t see my father, barely saw my mother, stayed with my wife and child for most of the day, to be honest, being with my baby and wife was the happiest time i’ve had in awhile and I tahnk God every day for it. My heart goes out to those who kept in contact when we left the restaurant, to those who did their best to help us, to those who offered kind words and comfort when we were down, those kind of friends will always be in our hearts.

I have seen from too many situations in the past, that if your not there to raise your children, give them a good home, teach them above all, then it’s just a plan for disaster. My dream would be to have 5-6 children, live in an open space, 2 Acre land with trees, maybe a small barn to raise live stock, an area to grow crops. I would have a job which would allow me to be with my kids on the weekends and at dinner during the weekdays. We would take small vacations or drives to random places, to learn about history, nature, people and so forth. To grow old with the women i love, my wife, be surrounded by our loved ones, to just sit on the porch ona rocking chair on a nice, cool summer afternoon and just soak in life, thank God for everything we have. That, my friends, is my dream, but to get there is first to be successful.

We are currently finding existing restaurants that are for sale or out of business, to of course build a Silk Road 2, problem is manpower on people we can trust and location. If anyone knows anything, please let me know in a private message!

Other than that, my family is doing well, eevryone thank God are in good health, I’m just planning now for a vacation to London, trying to put money aside for hopefully July. Thans Folks for taking the time out of your day to read this! Hope to see you all at the restaurant, now for some fun pictures/movies:

We took a 3 hour drive north of Kabul to a place called Shamali, beautiful scenery with so many fruit trees that every tree you bump into there’s some type of fruits to fall on your head. Hear is some pictures to help explain my wonderful experience.

Thinking to myself…

December 22, 2012

Everyone always try’s to stay positive I assume. Try & be proper, try to live life based on their beliefs & tradition. Sometimes we just cave in & fall victim to stress. There’s always has to be a rock in a relationship & a down to earth person; a dreamer & a believer,a positive to a negative. But sometimes both positives or negatives are a good thing. What I’m really trying to get at is how people mask their emotions through actions that sometimes make no sense or sometimes unintentionally hurt others feelings. The question is what to do,how to act? Get to their level and retaliate? Take the Ghandi approach & try to keep the peace? What do you do when someone becomes so stubborn? Or what to do if someone is always forgiving you for the stupid mistakes you always do? Allah knows best

Eid 2012!

August 19, 2012

Eid Mubarek to everyone! Today is the first day after Ramadan, I feel like I am more blessed than last year since I was able to fast everyday this year with no problem, pray “almost” everyday. I will do my very best to pray after Ramadan. Today is the celebration after fasting,we went early to the prayer and now I am at work,it’s really busy too MashAllah, today is also the first day of my new mass/strength gaining diet. It still feels weird to eat during the day but at least I’m eating healthy.

During Ramadan I’m still able to move weight!

I did chest & shoulders along with jump rope in between sets to cut the minutes short on my cardio. I did the rope towards the end of each muscle group workout so I am able to still have strength left to move weight.

Ramadan day 4

July 24, 2012

So it’s my first day off during Ramadan, it’s great to catch up on sleep. I had to run errands, then I was able to work on some kitchen projects at the restaurant.

I didn’t stick to the diet at all today since I wasn’t working, right now I just downed 8 Oreos with milk.

This is the weight that I was before I was married,4 years ago! This is just proof that proper dieting ,weight lifting and cardio will get you to where you need to be. I’m feeling vascular, stronger, healthier, more energy throughout the day. With proper nutrition & supplementation I am getting closer to my goal one pound at a time.

This is an example of what I’ve been eating almost every night for dinner, which helps with the binges & wanting to eat salty chips late at night which is really REALLY BAD FOR YOU!
I live mustard by the way.

Becoming more vascular due to my fat loss,I still need to check my Body Fat Percentage to see where I am now.
